50 Celebrities That Use Twitter

March 17th, 2009

Celebrities on Twitter

In case you have been living under a rock lately while watching your 401k evaporate, one of the hottest social media sites on the Internet today is Twitter. So much so, that you can now follow the daily musings of your favorite celebs in 140 character blips. For me, Rainn Wilson of The Office has been the most entertaining, but once Ashton Kutcher starts throwing stuff onto his neighbor’s roof he’ll probably take the top spot for a while.

After the break, I’ve put together a list of 50 celebrities that you can follow on Twitter. Feel free to email me anyone that I missed, as I’ll continue to update this as new celebrities discover the power of the tweet.

Get A Free Facebook Advertising Credit Of $100

March 12th, 2009

Visa business network

If you haven’t already tested out the waters of Facebook advertising, you can now do so with a free Facebook ad coupon that is generated once you install the Visa Business Network application on your profile. It seems like fair shake to me, especially since you can always remove the application if bothers you at all (which I doubt).

So now the big question is how do you use your $100 Facebook advertising credit? Here are a few suggestions…

  • To promote your business website
  • To promote your business page on Facebook
  • To promote your profile on Facebook
  • To test out a new affiliate marketing campaign

The $100 Facebook ad credit isn’t going to make you an overnight millionaire, but if used properly it should give you an indication of whether or not Facebook ads will work for your business.

Personally, I’m working on a test campaign for the house cleaning business I own and I would be shocked if it didn’t have a positive ROI given the amount of existing data I already have on my customer demographics. Once I finish the test campaign, I’ll follow up with some more detail as why the campaign was a failure or a success.
